--- Watch the youtube videos "Proverb-A-Day: Chapter 16", this one: "Pride Goes Before Destruction", and this one: "Proverbs 16:3". (15 mins)

--- Carefully read these portions of commentary on Proverbs 16:3, 7 & 8 (the three verses we are memorizing this week) from John Gill's Exposition of the Bible (just read the three brief excerpts for these three verses only)... what really hits your heart as you read these? (15 mins)

--- Memorize Proverbs 16:3 in NIV (15 mins)

--- Read Proverbs 16 in NLT (15 mins)

--- Grab a cool drink and thoughtfully read John Piper's article on "A New Year's Plea: Plan!" (on Prov. 16:3). How does this article speak to you? (15 mins)

--- Memorize Proverbs 16:7 in NIV --- and thoroughly review Proverbs 1:7-9, 3:5-6 & 9-10, 6:6-9 and 16:3 (15 mins total)

Wednesday - 

--- Read Proverbs 16 in NIV (15 mins)

--- Watch this youtube video "Pride and Humility" (Yay for legos! - 5 mins)

--- Read the article, "Dealing With Pride" (10 mins)

--- Watch the youtube video "The Solution for Pride is Not Humility" (5 mins)

--- Spend a few minutes dialoguing with Jesus about today's material. "Daddy, what are you saying to me today?" What do you notice as you meditate on Him during this time? Note it in a journal. (10 mins)

--- Memorize 

Proverbs 16:8 in NIV, and thoroughly review Proverbs 1:7-9, 3:5-6 & 9-10, 6:6-9 and 16:3 & 7 (15 mins total)

Thursday - 

--- Read Proverbs 16 in NKJV (15 mins)

--- Watch the video "Honesty - Urban Devotions" (5 mins)

--- Read part 1 of the article "Seven levels of lying" (10 mins)

--- Watch this great old video on Lying - "Fat Albert & the Cosby Kids" (10 mins) Funny knowing what your grandparents watched years ago?? :)

--- Spend a few minutes thanking Jesus for this weeks material. (5 mins)

---Review, review, review
